Shrek in The Backrooms Craft Planner Tool
Last updated: June 2026
The craft planner helps you calculate total materials needed for any weapon or multi-weapon loadout. Select your target weapons and compare required materials against your current inventory to identify farming gaps. Efficient crafting follows progression order: Single Shooter (1 Scrap Metal) → Grenade (3) → Ray Gun (6 Scrap Metal, 3 Circuit Board, 2 Battery) → Nuke (full rare material set). Skipping steps leaves you undergeared for mid-game levels.
Craft Planning Overview
The craft planner helps you calculate total materials needed for any weapon or multi-weapon loadout. Select your target weapons and compare required materials against your current inventory to identify farming gaps.
Efficient crafting follows progression order: Single Shooter (1 Scrap Metal) → Grenade (3) → Ray Gun (6 Scrap Metal, 3 Circuit Board, 2 Battery) → Nuke (full rare material set). Skipping steps leaves you undergeared for mid-game levels.
Material Requirements Reference
Single Shooter: 1 Scrap Metal. Grenade: 3 Scrap Metal. Bear Trap: 4 Scrap Metal. Proximity Mine: 3 Scrap Metal, 1 Battery.
Rocket Launcher: 6 Scrap Metal, 4 Wood, 2 Electric Wire. Ray Gun: 6 Scrap Metal, 3 Circuit Board, 2 Battery.
Nuke: 6 Scrap Metal, 3 Plastic, 4 Battery, 3 Electric Wire, 3 Circuit Board, 3 Plutonium.
Farming Route Suggestions
For Ray Gun: Run Lobby + Motion for Scrap Metal and Wood, then Office for Battery and Circuit Board.
For Nuke: Add Island runs for Plutonium and Circuit Board treasure chests. Daily day 7 rewards cover partial Nuke costs.
Batch farm one material type per session — all Scrap Metal in one Lobby loop, all Circuit Boards in one Office run — rather than scattered inefficient replays.
- Early: Lobby + Motion for Scrap Metal
- Mid: Office for Battery, Wire, Circuit Board
- Late: Island for Plutonium and chest Circuit Boards
- Weekly: Day 7 daily for Nuke components
Shared Material Overlap
Battery appears in Ray Gun, Nuke, and Proximity Mine recipes. Electric Wire appears in Rocket Launcher and Nuke. Planning both Ray Gun and Nuke simultaneously reduces total Office farming sessions compared to crafting them sequentially without overlap planning.
Multi-Weapon Planning
Plan crafts for your next three level attempts, not just the next level. Entering The Office, Elevator, and Room of Doors back-to-back requires Ray Gun plus two Grenades minimum — calculate total materials before leaving Spawn Zone.
Nuke planning requires separate material tracking from Ray Gun. Plutonium does not overlap with Ray Gun Circuit Board needs on Island, but Battery and Electric Wire overlap — farm Office once for both craft lines.
Use this planner before spending rare materials on lower-tier crafts. One Proximity Mine costs the same Battery that Ray Gun needs — opportunity cost matters for rare components.
Planning Your Craft Progression Path
The craft planner tool maps material requirements across all seven craftable weapons: Single Shooter, Grenade, Bear Trap, Proximity Mine, Rocket Launcher, Ray Gun, and Nuke. Enter your current material inventory to see which weapons you can craft immediately and which need additional farming.
Optimal progression follows tier order: Single Shooter first for 1 Scrap Metal, Grenade for 3 Scrap Metal before Poolrooms, Ray Gun for 6 Scrap Metal plus 3 Circuit Board plus 2 Battery before The Office, and Nuke for the full rare material set before level 29 Wooden Kingdom.
Proximity Mine requires 3 Scrap Metal plus 1 Battery — a solid B-tier trap alternative to Bear Trap which is bugged on some levels as of June 2026. Rocket Launcher demands 6 Scrap Metal, 4 Wood, and 2 Electric Wire for A-tier instant-kill radius damage with slow reload.
Plutonium for Nuke crafting comes exclusively from Island treasure chests and hidden rooms — the craft planner highlights this bottleneck so you can schedule an Island farming run before committing materials to Nuke assembly. Never craft Nuke until all six material types are confirmed in inventory.
